Since the 1970s, the Bloomington Press Club has brought together journalists, media professionals, and public communicators to connect, collaborate, and advocate for stronger journalism and communication in our community.

Our mission is to support journalism and an informed citizenry in the greater Bloomington community through the collective efforts of our members.

We bring members together through social events and regular meetings with speakers who discuss newsworthy topics. The club also supports local high school students with scholarships to attend the High School Journalism Institute and an internship program for IU students.
